On January 26, a festive show of the opening of the Ice Rink took place at the Republican cycling track “Saryarka”. The youth wing “Zhas Otan” provided assistance during the event. On this day, the skating rink hosted about 500 citizens, the press service of the cycling track reports.

The skating rink of the same name has been in neighbors with the cycle track since last year. Despite the fact that the skating rink was open last year, it was officially opened only this year. It was under reconstruction for several months. The ice surface has improved significantly, the cycling track employees note. All international standards were taken into account. The technique of pouring ice is multi-level; it was frozen at −7 degrees. The first to try the ice were the country's figure skaters, candidates for master of sports, Champions of the Republican competitions of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Malyuk Ekaterina, Shevchenko Anastasia, Suleimenova Diana

Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Sports and Physical Culture Kanagatov Ilsiyar Baimukhamedovich came to congratulate and conduct the opening ceremony. He, together with the director of the Republican State Enterprise “Republican Cycling Track “Saryarka” Abishev Kali Dzhamalovich, cut the ribbon and congratulated the guests on the opening.

- There are very great prospects for the rolling rink in the future. Its role in the history of sports Kazakhstan is to be a springboard for training in such sports as short track speed skating and figure skating. Such events will allow us to secure our status as a modernized sports facility that implements the President’s message - attracting the masses to sports!

In the center of the ice, the guests were entertained by showman GalymIsmagulov with a program of drawings for prizes from Beeline, souvenirs from the cycling track, and monthly passes. Albagachieva Aznat and Dauletkanov Daulet became the holders of season tickets.

The highlight of the event was the distribution of ice cream to flyer bearers. The surprise was the invitation of the Pink Hare, who took photographs throughout the evening and amused the audience.

In the future, it is planned to hold all kinds of youth and family events at the Saryarka ice skating rink, providing an incentive to play sports. Today's event is proof of this.

The administration of the Ice Rink is pleased to welcome you 6 days a week. From Tuesday to Friday we are open from 18:00 to 22:30; on weekends from 12:00 to 22:00.
