STATE YOUTH AWARD "DARYN"
The Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces a competition for the State Youth Award “Daryn”.
The State Youth Award “Daryn” is awarded annually as part of the state support for talented youth for their fruitful scientific, creative, public activities, as well as outstanding achievements in sports.
The competition will be held in 10 categories:
"Literature", "Science", "Design and Fine Arts", "Journalism", "Classical Music", "Public Activity", "Sports", "Theater and Cinema", "Pop Art", "Folk Art".
Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the age of 35 as of the application deadline may participate in the competition, provided they are winners of international and national contests, festivals, and exhibitions, prize-winners and champions of national and international sports competitions, or candidates whose innovative activities contribute to the development of their respective fields and society as a whole.
Candidates for the “Daryn” Youth Award may be nominated by central, local, and other state bodies, public associations, and other legal entities registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The following documents must be submitted in both hard copy and electronic form:

A copy of the candidate's identity document;

A registration application for the “Daryn” State Youth Award in the format according to the annex to these Rules;

A nomination letter and a reference outlining the candidate’s achievements;

Copies of award diplomas, certificates, letters of appreciation (if available);

Copies of articles and publications by or about the candidate (if available);
-
A copy of a certificate confirming the existence of a bank account;

Supporting materials demonstrating the candidate's achievements (if available).
Award recipients are granted the title “Laureate of the State Youth Award ‘Daryn’”, and receive a diploma, a badge, and a monetary prize.
The “Daryn” Award was established in 1992. Over the years, more than 360 individuals from various fields have become laureates of this award.
Applications (hard copy) will be accepted from June 26 to August 27, 2025 (inclusive) by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the following address:
