Open Winter Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in tempo events and sprint

In the period from January 26 to 30, the Open Winter Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in tempo events and sprint (men, women), Republican competitions in group races (boys) were held at the republican cycling track “Saryarka”. A total of 110 athletes took part, representing 14 regional teams and the cities of Astana and Almaty. The home team was represented by 26 riders, reports the press service of the Department of Tourism, Physical Education and Sports of Astana.

On January 28, the first winners in the 4 km team pursuit race among men were determined. The capital's athletes from SDYUSSHOR No. 6, consisting of Nikita Klevanov, Danis Miniyakhmetov and Vladislav Filipovich (all three train with coach V. A. Zalevsky) took third place in this distance. Their times are 4.30.36 minutes. The first two places were taken by the combined teams. In first place was the team consisting of Dias Omirzakov (SKO), Ivan Tsisaryuk (Karaganda region), Artem Zakharov (SKO), Dmitry Lukyanov (Kostanay region) with a time of 4,15,15 minutes, in second - with their combined efforts they managed representatives of Kyzylorda, Almaty regions and East Kazakhstan region will be located (4.25 min.).

In the women's 3 km pursuit race, the Almaty region team took first place (4.04.06 m). The Karaganda athletes were just a little behind them, their time was 4.04.36 minutes. The North Kazakhstanis closed the top three - 4.16.97 minutes.

Also on this day, the winners and runners-up in the sprint were determined. Among men, the race was won by Pavel Vorzhev from Karaganda. Almaty resident Ivan Sivash and Astana resident Zaki Sultanov (coach A.L. Kochetkov) respectively took second and third places. Among women, the best in the sprint were also from Karaganda - Tatyana Ulbricht took first place, and Tatyana Zadnepryanova took second place. “Bronze” in the sprint from Astana representative Elizaveta Prokhorenko (coach Berezin V.A.).

And a day later, E. Prokhorenko (Astana) wins the group race (scratch), gaining 30 points, and thus ahead of Tatiana Ulbricht (Karaganda region) and Aliya Kargalieva (Almaty region).

In the Madison 120 lap race, Artem Zakharov (SKO) and Pavel Gatsky (Pavlodar) became champions. “Silver” went to Dias Omirzakov (South Kazakhstan region) and Robert Gaineev (Kyzylorda). In third place are Ivan Tsisaruk (Karaganda region) and Dmitry Lukyanov (Kostanay region)

As part of the republican competition in the race, Scratch resident Vadim Onischuk (coach L.V. Shirochkina) took second place with 36 points, behind only Niyaz Shustov from the Almaty region and Asylkhan Turar from Kyzylorda. In the 500-meter round, the race was won by Pavel Vorzhev - 14.06 seconds. Our Zaki Sultanov took second place with a time of 14.90 seconds, and the representative of the Zhambyl region Sultan Miraliev, lagging behind the second by only 0.01 seconds, took third place.

The women had a group race of 60 laps. Her results: 1st place - Tatyana Ulbricht (Kar. region), 2nd place Aliya Kargalieva (Alm. region), 3rd place Makhabbat Umutzhanova (North Kazakhstan region). In the group race for men 120 laps, Pavel Gatsky from Pavlodar, Artem Zakharov from

SKO and PazylbekZhaksylyk from the Kyzylorda region are in second and third places, respectively.

The winners were determined in the republican competitions among young men. In the 40-lap group race, Niyaz Shustov (Almaty region) scored the most points. In second and third place are the capital's athletes - Vadim Onischuk and Eduard Rosenberg. In the 1000m pairs race, Pavel Vorzhev was again the best, this time together with Roman Lentarev (Karaganda region). The winners' time is 1:06:20. Second place went to South Kazakhstanis - Sultan Miraliev and Rinat Khabibulin - 1.09.46. And third place was taken by Zaki Sultanov and Almaz Kineev - 1.10.89 (Astana).
