The new mini-football fields of the cycling track “Saryarka” hosted a tournament among schoolchildren of Saryarka District of the capital. In the hard struggle, the winner of the football team battles was the Kazakh-Turkish Lyceum, according to the correspondent of “Evening Astana”.

On the first day of the competition, quartet semifinalists was made up out of 7 participating teams. These were Gymnasium school No 2 named after Gafu Kairbekov, Gymnasium School No 7, Secondary School No 61 and the Kazakh-Turkish Lyceum. Less fortunate in the results of the semi-finals were the teams of Gymnasium School No 7 and No 2, who identified the strongest in internal competition. The luck was on the side of the school students of School No 7.

In the final competition, the players of the Kazakh-Turkish Lyceum beat their rivals from the School No 61, receiving the honorary Cup “Sary-Arka”. - This is not the first event organized by us. Its goal is to unite children and to attract younger generations to a healthy lifestyle and a targeted leisure, - said Gulnur Kaztaeva, the expert of department of regional development of the “United Children and Youth Organization Zhas Ulan”.

The plans of the organizers are to organize tournaments and global championships among children at a large-scale level.
