On September 21, Republican cycling competitions were once again launched on the track of the Republican cycling track "Saryarka".

The opening ceremony of the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in tempo sports (men, women, boys, girls) and the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in team sprint and kerin (men, women) was provided to the guest of honor, Commissioner of the UCI, Martin Bruin.

It was not the first time Bruin had been a guest of Kazakhstan cycling competitions, so the atmosphere on the track was familiar to him.

"I am glad to attend your competitions as an honored guest. This is also an experience for me, as well as for you. I would like to wish the guys good luck in their professional life. I think there are those among you who will bring Kazakhstan to the highest level in the international cycling arena. And now good luck to you at today's competitions, show what you are capable of," Mr. Martin shared his impressions at the opening ceremony of the competition.

The program of the first two days of the Championship included races in the following types: individual pursuit, sprint, team pursuit.

It is worth noting that for the first time bicycles and parts of the domestic manufacturer Ust-Kamenogorsk were exhibited at the Championship.

On September 23, 24, and 25, the Championship will feature races in the scratch, git, group race, geirin, Madison, and elimination group race.
