On March 1 and 2, the Winter Triathlon Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in closed rooms will be held in the Saryarka cycle track.

The national triathlon championship among professional athletes is held under the auspices of the Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation. The purpose of the competition is to identify the strongest athletes, increase the level of skills and qualifications of Kazakhstan professional athletes, develop triathlon and promote a healthy lifestyle in Kazakhstan.

More than 70 athletes over 15 years old from Astana and Shymkent, as well as from Akmola, Karaganda, Kostanay, Turkestan and East Kazakhstan regions will take part in the competition. On the first day, athletes will compete in swimming at 200 meters and 400 meters, in the run for 1,000 meters and 2,000 meters, and on the second day, a cycling race for 2,000 meters and 4,000 meters will be held.
