IN THE "MY SPORTS HISTORY" COLUMN — INTERNATIONAL MASTER OF SPORTS IN TRIATHLON DIANA ERZHANOVA

Diana Erzhanova is an international master of sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan in triathlon and a member of the national triathlon team of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Sport has been an integral part of her life since early childhood. Diana grew up in a sporty family, where a love of an active lifestyle and the pursuit of excellence have always been important family values. She took her first steps in sports thanks to her older sister, who brought her to a swimming club to improve her health and learn swimming skills.

After just a few months of training, Diana demonstrated outstanding abilities. On the recommendation of her coaches, she participated in city competitions, where she achieved one of the best results. It was then that specialists noticed her talent, and triathlon coach Murat Aubakirov invited the promising athlete to join his team. From that moment on, her journey in triathlon began, which would later become her life's work.

Thanks to her determination, hard work, and discipline, Diana repeatedly won and placed in national and international competitions, representing Kazakhstan with distinction on the global sports stage.

The athlete devotes special attention to preparing for competitions. She strictly adheres to a diet, recovery, and sleep schedule. A personal ritual is an important part of her psychological preparation: before going to bed the night before a race, she mentally imagines completing the distance, her confident fight, and the moment she crosses the finish line first. This visualization helps her prepare for a successful performance and approach the start line with confidence.

Today, Diana continues to hone her athletic skills under the guidance of experienced mentors Murat Aubakirov and Aslan Bulatovich, to whom she is sincerely grateful for their professionalism, support, and significant contribution to her athletic achievements.
