The purpose of the competition:

- Review of the work of sports organizations of the republic for the development of cycling on the track, promoting it in the media, sports skill growth and identify promising athletes;

- Creation of conditions for employment of children and youth cycling on the track and the competition;

- The involvement of the largest possible number of children adolescents and young people in playing different kinds of cycling;

- Civil and patriotic education of youth on examples of athletes who have made a significant contribution to the establishment and development of cycling, are important for the state of sports achievements.

- Inform the public of the brightest pages of the Kazakh cycling, while the fate of athletes who glorified Kazakhstan, coaches, sports organizers, the public and government officials.

The competition involved teams of the 2nd age group:

- Girls-boys, 2000-2001 year;

- Junior boys - junior girls 2002-2003 year.
