Today, on May 16, the Grand Opening of the Republic Championship took place in a 4-day group race (juniors, junior women, boys, girls). The Championship program includes Republican competitions in group races (men, women, junior boys). Regional track cycling teams take part in the competition. The competition will last until May 20, 2016.

Also during today’s grand opening, the director of the Center for Cycling, Mukashev Bauyrzhan Omirserikovich, honored the participants of the Asian Track Cycling Championship (Japan), which took place in January 2016 and presented memorable souvenirs from the organizers of the Championship.
