The Cycling Center held an annual mini-football tournament among schools in Astana
On May 13, 2016, the administration of the Republican State Enterprise “Center for Olympic Training in Cycling” together with the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the RPO “Unified Children and Youth Organization “Zhas Ulan” held an annual mini-football tournament among city schools on the street mini-football fields of the cycling track Astana for the Cup of the Olympic Training Center in cycling.
The tournament has been held for three years and has already become traditional. 10 schools in Astana took part in today’s event. Teams from school No. 19, school No. 34, school No. 58, school No. 3, school No. 72, school No. 7, school No. 31, school No. 5, school No. 68, and school No. 61 competed for the COP cup in cycling.
The team from city school No. 3 took first place. The second place was taken by the team from school No. 7 and the third place was taken by the team from school No. 68.
The winners were awarded prize cups from the Olympic Training Center for Cycling. The rest of the participating teams were awarded diplomas for their active participation in the tournament.
“One of the priority tasks of the state development program “Kazakhstan 2050” is the availability of sports infrastructure, sports facilities, sites for mass physical education and sports, including indoor sports. This tournament is one of our many promotions; in the future we plan to bring you to various tournaments and competitions on a regular basis. We will be glad to see you as our guest. The doors of our complex are always open!” - noted the director of the Republican State Enterprise “Olympic Training Center for Cycling” in his welcoming speech to the schoolchildren.
The administration of the Olympic Training Center for Cycling expresses gratitude to the participants of the event - the teams of Astana schools, as well as the co-organizers of the event - the RPO "Unified Children and Youth Organization "Zhas Ulan" for their assistance in the implementation and assistance of this project.
