On August 17, 2019, a sports tournament for the Day of Sports was held at the Saryarka Republican Velodrome, in which the following teams took part:

• The Head Office of the Ministry of Culture and Sports;

• The Committee on Sports and Physical Education;

• The Committee of Tourism Industry;

• The Language Policy Committee;

• The National Olympic Committee;

• The Olympic Wrestling Training Center;

• Nur Sultan Olympic Training Center;

• The Olympic Cycling Training Center;

• Republican Educational-Methodical and Analytical Center;

• Kh. Munaitpasov Republican Specialized Boarding School-College of Olympic Reserve;

• The Directorate for the Development of Sports;

• The National Sport and Equestrian Center;

• The Sports and Fitness Center for Disabled People.

This event was held in order to develop mass sports and to introduce civil servants to a healthy lifestyle.

Teams competed in 6 sports: futsal, table tennis, volleyball, chess, asyk atu and tug of war.
