In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a professional holiday of sports workers is celebrated every third Sunday in August. On this day, sport events are held in different parts of Kazakhstan.

In order to promote health, promote healthy lifestyles and develop mass sport, a tournament dedicated to the Sports Day among sports organizations is held every year at the Olympic cycling training center.

Today, there are 16 teams: the Central Office of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture, the Tourism Industry Committee, the Committee for the Development of Languages ​​and Socio-Political Work, the National Olympic Committee of the RK, the Olympic Training Center, the Olympic Bicycle Training Center , Directorate of State National Teams and Sports Reserve, Boarding School. K.Munaytpasova, Republican Training and Methodological and Analytical Center, DSP for persons with disabilities, Center for National and Equestrian Sports, Olympic Training Center for Wrestling, Astana Culture and Sports Department, KazSport TV Channel, SportInform Portal fought for the championship in chess, table tennis, volleyball and mini-football. During the competition the teams showed their skills and made every effort to win. All the winners were awarded special diplomas, medals and cups.
