Today, the official ceremony of seeing off the national team of Kazakhstan at the 3rd Summer Youth Olympic Games, which will be held in the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires, took place in the republican cycle track "Saryarka". The competition will be attended by 3926 athletes 15-18 years from 206 countries. There will be medals in 32 sports. The competition program included break dance, karate, rock climbing, roller skating, beach handball and futsal.

The event was attended by representatives of the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, coaches and the entire composition of the country's sports delegation. The honor of Kazakhstan at UOI will be protected by 57 athletes in 22 sports. Domestic athletes won 41 licenses of the Youth Olympics.

The standard-bearer of the national team of Kazakhstan at the opening ceremony of the Youth Olympic Games will be the 18-year-old boxer Damir Toibay, who this year won the Asian Youth Championship.
