The Republican taekwondo tournament "Champion" was held in the southern capital - the city of Almaty from April 5 to April 7, 2019.

More than 1,500 athletes from all regions of Kazakhstan competed in this competition, including representatives of the sports section of the Olympic cycling training center. As a result of the two-day sports rivalry, the taekwondoists of the Center successfully performed and won 8 gold, 6 silver and 4 bronze medals.
